We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Lead / Manager – S/4HANA Deployment to lead the North America regional technical hub for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional SAP technical deployment team across BASIS/BTP, Security, Integration, QA, Cutover and Operations.
- Own technical readiness and execution through SIT2, UAT, Dress Rehearsals, Production Cutover and Hypercare.
- Lead regional cutover planning, command and control, including runbook management and go-live readiness.
- Drive regional defect triage, release/transport governance and readiness reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and third-party partners across Canada and the US.
- Provide leadership and escalation support to ensure regional technical issues are resolved within the required timelines.
- Partner with global SAP teams and senior stakeholders to ensure a smooth and controlled deployment.

- Experience across SAP BASIS/BTP, Integration, Security/Authorizations and SAP technical environments.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Lead / Manager to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and deployment program across North America.
The successful candidate will lead a regional technical team and be responsible for technical readiness, deployment execution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. This role requires strong SAP technical knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to coordinate across technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a regional SAP technical deployment team.
- Own technical readiness and execution across SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsals, Production Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Coordinate technical activities across SAP BASIS/BTP, Security & Authorizations, Integration, QA, and custom applications.
- Establish technical governance, readiness tracking, escalation processes, and reporting.
- Manage regional defect triage, prioritization, escalation, and resolution.
- Own technical dependencies across interfaces, integrations, reports, and downstream systems.
- Coordinate third-party and vendor technical readiness, including connectivity, testing, environment activities, and cutover requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute the SAP cutover runbook.
- Lead cutover rehearsals and validate sequencing, timings, dependencies, and downtime windows.
- Support Go/No-Go readiness assessments and provide technical evidence for stage-gate reviews.
- Lead incident response and stabilization activities during hypercare.
- Ensure adherence to change management, release management, transport governance, QA, and applicable controls.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to technical team members.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders across multiple time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading technical teams on large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP technical environments, including:
- SAP BASIS / BTP
- SAP Security & Authorizations
- SAP Integration
- Custom Application Development
- Strong experience with SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsals, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Experience with SAP cutover planning, execution, defect management, and release/transport governance.
- Experience managing third-party/vendor technical readiness.
- Strong governance, resource management, risk management, and readiness reporting experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/French, particularly experience supporting Quebec-based operations.
- Experience in mining, metals, resources, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Experience across ERP domains such as Supply Chain, Maintenance, Finance, and Commercial.
- Experience working with globally distributed and offshore technical teams.
- Experience with complex SAP integrations and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with digital adoption and SAP transformation programs.
