Technical Project Manager - AI Governance
This is an AI-focused Project Manager role responsible for leading the delivery of GenAI solutions such as AI assistants, chatbots, automation tools, RAG solutions, and AI-powered applications.
The key difference from a traditional AI PM role is that this person must have experience ensuring AI solutions are deployed safely and responsibly. They will work with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, compliance, and technology teams to establish and manage governance controls, approval processes, risk reviews, and operational guardrails for AI systems.
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
- Experience delivering AI, GenAI, ML, automation, or digital transformation projects
- Strong Agile/Scrum background
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
- Understanding of AI technologies including ChatGPT, Copilot, LLMs, RAG, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Experience working with AI governance, Responsible AI, model risk management, compliance, privacy, or security controls
What This Person Will Do
- Manage AI projects from planning through production deployment
- Coordinate engineers, architects, data teams, security teams, and business stakeholders
- Drive Agile ceremonies and project delivery
- Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure AI solutions meet governance, privacy, security, and Responsible AI requirements before release
- Help establish AI controls, guardrails, approval processes, monitoring, and oversight frameworks
