FACE - Families of Alberta for Conductive Education

FACE has been empowering children and adults with neuromotor conditions in Calgary for over 30 years, providing the city’s only specialized Conductive Education programs designed specifically for children and young adults with complex needs. Rooted in a strength‑based, community‑driven approach, FACE addresses the societal barriers that limit autonomy, inclusion, and independence by offering group‑based learning led by certified conductors trained in movement anatomy, psychology, and neuromotor development. Our young adult and children’s programs blend movement, communication support, social connection, and accessible education to create a welcoming environment where participants build skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships.
