Are you a natural relationship builder who loves finding new business and closing sales?
We'd love to hear from you!
At Fast Track Packaging, we're growing, and we're looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to help us take that growth to the next level.
Who We Are
Fast Track Packaging is a leading North American provider of innovative aluminum can decoration and packaging solutions for the beverage industry.
We help beverage brands bring their products to life through direct digital printing, traditional printed cans, shrink sleeves, and a range of specialty packaging solutions.
With advanced printing technology, in-house capabilities, and a strong focus on quality, service, and speed, we offer our customers the flexibility and support they need to compete in a fast-moving market.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who can help us build new relationships, open doors, and turn opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.
The Opportunity
This role is for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people, making connections, and developing new business.
You'll be responsible for identifying prospective customers, introducing them to Fast Track Packaging, understanding their needs, and showing them how we can help their businesses succeed.
You'll have the opportunity to work with beverage brands and businesses across North America, develop your own sales pipeline, and make a direct contribution to our company's continued growth.
We're looking for a salesperson who is comfortable picking up the phone, reaching out to new prospects, booking meetings, and asking for the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop new business: Identify, contact, and pursue new customers through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Build relationships: Establish strong relationships with decision-makers at beverage brands, co-packers, and other businesses that need aluminum can decoration and packaging solutions.
- Create opportunities: Research target markets, identify potential customers, and develop a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Drive sales: Schedule customer meetings, present our capabilities, prepare for sales discussions, follow up on opportunities, negotiate, and close business.
- Manage the sales process: Take ownership of opportunities from the first contact through to the sale and handoff to our internal team.
- Get out in the market: Visit prospective and existing customers, attend industry events, and identify opportunities to grow our customer base.
- Work as a team: Collaborate with our internal sales, graphics, customer service, and production teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Grow existing business: Build on customer relationships to identify new projects, additional products, and opportunities to increase sales.
- Stay organized: Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up commitments.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is personable, driven, professional, and comfortable taking the initiative.
You don't need to wait for opportunities to come to you. You know how to create them.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to make cold calls, contact decision-makers, and open new doors.
- Good listening, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once.
- A willingness to travel to meet customers and develop new business.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Experience in the beverage, packaging, printing, manufacturing, or co-packing industries would be a strong asset. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows through on commitments, and wants to help build something bigger.
