BUILD A BRAND-NEW ACADEMY FROM DAY ONE!!
A new Fueling Brains Academy is opening in Lloydminster in January 2027, and we need two founding Center Directors to lead it. You will be hiring your team, meeting the first families through the door, and setting the culture from the first morning.
Your Side Of The Campus:
- Junior Preschool Director: You lead our infant and toddler programs, where the youngest learners build their first foundations.
- Preschool Director: You lead our preschool program, where children grow into confident, curious learners ready for what’s next.
Each is its own licensed centre with its own director. You’ll work side by side as founding partners.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the daily running of your centre, keeping children safe, ratios covered and classrooms ready
- Recruit, coach and develop a team of educators, and make them feel like a team
- Bring the Fueling Brains curriculum to life, a program built around executive function and whole-child development
- Be the face families trust, from the first tour to the first parent-teacher meeting
- Build a strong relationship with licensing and keep your centre inspection-ready
- Manage your budget, enrolment, schedules and records
- Grow your centre as new children and classrooms are added
You Might Be Our Person If:
- You have 2–5 years in licensed child care, with leadership or supervisory experience. Assistant directors and lead educators ready for the next step are encouraged to apply.
- You hold, or can obtain, Saskatchewan Early Childhood Educator certification. Level 3 is preferred, and Alberta-certified candidates are welcome to apply. We’ll walk you through the Saskatchewan process.
- You coach people well, communicate clearly and make good calls under pressure
- You’re excited to build something and learn as you go
- You have a clear vulnerable sector check, and valid Child Care First Aid and CPR (or you’ll get it within 3 months)
You don’t need to live in Lloydminster. We care about your leadership, not your postal code.
What We Offer:
- A founding role with real ownership of the culture, the team and the program
- Competitive pay aligned with the Saskatchewan wage grid, plus eligibility for the Saskatchewan government wage top-up
- Full Fueling Brains curriculum training before opening and ongoing development after
- Mentorship and leadership support from the Fueling Brains team
- Relocation assistance available for consideration, assessed case by case
- Lower living costs than major cities, with a growing community
Meet Us Before We Open:
Visit the new campus, meet our leadership, and bring your résumé at our walk-in interview days on October 27 and 28. Can’t make it? We’ll interview you online or in Calgary or Saskatoon.
APPLY NOW and tell us which side calls to you, Junior Preschool or Preschool.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada (citizens, permanent residents, or open work permit holders). Employment is subject to a criminal record check including a vulnerable sector search. Fueling Brains Academy is an equal opportunity workplace committed to an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and heard. Applications from people of diverse identities and backgrounds are encouraged.
