About the Role
We’re seeking a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow Feathery’s most important enterprise customer relationships. This role is focused on retention, expansion, and long-term value creation across our largest clients in insurance and wealth management.
You will act as the quarterback for your accounts, partnering closely with Solution Engineering, Product, and Leadership to ensure customers achieve meaningful outcomes while identifying opportunities to expand Feathery’s footprint across workflows, teams, and business units. Expect to visit enterprise clients on site at least once a quarter. Travel with North America is required.
As an early team member, you’ll help define our enterprise account management motion, influence product direction through customer insights, and play a key role in scaling revenue from our existing customer base. We are a hybrid company that meets on-site regularly.
What You'll Do:
Own a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, with responsibility for retention, expansion, and overall customer success
Build and maintain executive-level relationships across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
Identify and drive expansion opportunities (new workflows, teams, integrations, and use cases) within existing customers
Partner with Solution Engineers to ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and value realization
Lead renewal and commercial conversations, including pricing, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements
Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer goals and Feathery’s growth strategy
Act as the internal voice of the customer, collaborating with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities
Support key customers at industry conferences and executive events
Maintain a deep understanding of customer environments, workflows, and strategic initiatives
Forecast expansion and renewal revenue accurately and manage pipeline within your accounts
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
7+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, account management, or strategic account roles
Proven track record of growing existing enterprise accounts through expansion and renewals
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts and navigating enterprise organizations
Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust with C-level and senior stakeholders
Experience with $100k–$1M+ ARR deals, including expansion and multi-year agreements
Ability to think strategically about customer outcomes and align them to commercial opportunities
Experience in financial services (insurance or wealth) is a strong plus
Highly collaborative; able to work cross-functionally within Sales, SE, Product, and Leadership
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable business impact
