Original job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Class 3A Propane Driver on a full-time permanent basis in Winnipeg, MB, offering $26.31 - $35.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Are you a self-motivated driver looking for a job opportunity that will have you home every night? We offer job stability, consistent working hours, benefits, pension, paid time off, work gear, and all required training.

What You’ll Do

Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries to various local customers.
Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.

Who You’ll Work With

The Team: You will work with other drivers and service technicians and will report to the Propane Operations Supervisor. The team strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.

The Customers: You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

Why It Matters

We fuel Western Canadian communities by offering innovative energy products and providing unmatched service to Co-op member-owners and customers.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and:

Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license.
Are a self-starter who works well independently with strong organizational skills and time management.
Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
Are comfortable undergoing a pre-employment alcohol and substance test to qualify for safety-sensitive work.

What We Offer

Competitive wages, benefits, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
As a co-operative, we do business differently. We believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. To learn more about who we are and what we offer, visit fcl.crs.

If this opportunity speaks to you, we invite you to apply today!

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation throughout the recruitment process to ensure an enjoyable candidate experience. If you require accommodation during the recruitment process, we invite you to submit your requests to us via fclhr@fcl.crs. All information received will be kept confidential.

As this position is considered a position of trust and safety sensitive, you may be required to complete a substance test, criminal record check and provide a drivers abstract in accordance with FCL policies. FCLHP

FCL embraces diversity and inclusion. We’re working to create a workforce that is as diverse as the communities we serve and an environment where every team member brings their whole self to work. We believe all candidates should feel at home with us and be given the opportunity to fully participate during the recruitment process.
