Ways You Contribute

Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
Provide administrative support to HR Director.
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system in order to support the benefits and payroll administration process.
Own the Work Anniversary Program by tracking, communicating, and purchasing gifts.
Own offboarding processes and applicable notices and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve employee technical and/or PTO issues in the HRIS system (UKG).
Join and participate as the employer appointed lead of the Health & Safety Committee to ensure safety objectives and compliance is achieved.
Prepare HR reports as requested.
Update documents and communication platforms to support transparent company communication.
Update employee benefits changes and respond to employee benefit questions.
Update & launch employee surveys and compile preliminary data.
Support employment compliance reporting by completing the Employment Equity, Job Vacancy, Health & Safety, and Accessible Canada Reports as required.
Maintain and update the HR SharePoint site.
Coordinate culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with the development and implementation of policies.
Action recruitment and onboarding activities including creating job requisitions/job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, participating in interviews, presenting offers and facilitating offer negotiations.
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Other duties as required.

3+ years of relevant work experience supporting in an administrative function with Human Resources exposure.
Experience with technical and non-technical recruiting.

Additional Qualifications
