About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Warranty Coordinator to join our team in Surrey, BC on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave coverage.
In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of warranty claims, from initial submission through final resolution. You will work closely with branches, service teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure claims are accurate, complete, and processed efficiently.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable making decisions independently. You will also play an important role in identifying trends, resolving complex warranty issues, and helping improve warranty processes and recovery outcomes.
Job Description:
What You'll Do
Warranty Claims & Performance
- Manage a portfolio of warranty claims across assigned branches or product lines from submission through final resolution.
- Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with manufacturer and supplier requirements.
- Monitor outstanding, rejected, and disputed claims and take proactive action to support timely resolution.
- Help improve claim acceptance, recovery timelines, and overall warranty performance.
- Minimize rework and financial impact by identifying and addressing claim issues early.
Problem Solving & Decision-Making
- Interpret warranty policies and guidelines to determine appropriate claim handling.
- Independently investigate and resolve complex, disputed, or escalated claims.
- Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and achieve effective outcomes.
- Use sound judgment when assessing claim eligibility and documentation requirements.
Stakeholder Support
- Act as a key point of contact for warranty-related questions.
- Provide guidance to branches and service teams on warranty eligibility, documentation, and submission requirements.
- Share best practices and help improve consistency and quality across warranty processes.
- Support onboarding and provide informal coaching to team members when required.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Review warranty claim data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with branches and service teams to address root causes and improve claim outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and standardize processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warranty operations.
Warranty Operations
- Support pricing updates, warranty registrations, system maintenance, and related administrative activities.
- Coordinate Non-Cat claim tracking and follow up with suppliers as required.
- Maintain accurate and organized warranty records and documentation.
- Use systems such as M3, Salesforce, SIS, and SIMSi to manage claims and monitor performance.
What You'll Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in warranty, service operations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of warranty processes, policies, and service operations.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or warranty systems. Experience with M3, Salesforce, SIS, or SIMSi is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret guidelines, assess information, and make sound decisions independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to provide guidance and influence stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and improving processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Position Details
