Your Team:
Join the Product & Yield Management team at Flair Vacations as a Pricing and Yield Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product & Yield Management and working closely with the Manager, Pricing & Yield, you will maximize revenue through effective pricing, inventory management, and forecasting across a portfolio of routes and bases. You will use demand trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to optimize fares and load factors and support commercial decisions. This is a full-time, on-site position that is based at our Toronto (YYZ) office.
A Day in the Life:
As a Pricing and Yield Analyst, you will:
- Maximize revenue generation by optimizing pricing and inventory across a portfolio of routes and bases, ensuring strong load factors and effective booking curves.
- Develop and implement advanced, data-driven revenue management tools, models, and methodologies to enhance decision-making.
- Produce accurate and timely revenue forecasts at both the base and route level, supporting strategic and operational planning.
- Monitor competitor pricing, capacity, and market activity, and translate insights into proactive strategies and tactical adjustments.
- Conduct detailed market analysis to inform commercial strategies and guide revenue-related decision-making.
- Promote a data driven approach to all aspects of revenue management, ensuring analytical rigor and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with network planning, scheduling, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with overall commercial objectives.
- Support the evaluation of new route opportunities and schedule adjustments by providing revenue and demand forecasts.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring to the Role:
We are looking for someone who is analytical, highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and excited to help build something new. The ideal candidate brings:
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Experience in tour operations, aviation, airlines, or the travel industry is required.
- Experience working with large datasets, forecasting models, and analytical tools.
- Experience using revenue management systems, business intelligence platforms, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) is required.
- Exposure to competitive market analysis and pricing strategy development is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required; familiarity with SQL or Python is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate forecasts and reports under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Requirements:
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
