Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to develop, maintain, enhance, and support enterprise business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong PowerBuilder, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL development, and legacy application experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance PowerBuilder applications in an enterprise environment.
- Maintain and provide production support for existing and legacy applications.
- Develop SQL Server databases, stored procedures, queries, and database objects.
- Perform application enhancements, troubleshooting, integrations, and file transfers.
- Develop interfaces with external systems and enterprise applications.
- Support PowerBuilder application migration and modernization initiatives.
- Follow SDLC, development, security, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams while working independently when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years PowerBuilder development experience.
- 6+ years application development and production support experience.
- 5+ years client-server application development.
- 5+ years object-oriented development/design.
- 3+ years relational database development and stored procedures.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and SQL development experience.
- Experience with PowerBuilder/MSSQL application enhancements and legacy systems.
- Experience with version control systems such as TFS.
- Knowledge of database design, design patterns, web services, and enterprise n-tier architecture.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
