Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Custom Cabinetry Assembler located in Scarborough, ON. The Custom Cabinetry Assembler will be responsible for assembling custom cabinetry and furniture components according to project specifications and quality standards. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting materials, reading and interpreting blueprints, using woodworking tools and equipment, and ensuring precision and accuracy in assembly. The role also involves coordinating with team members to ensure timely project completion and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in woodworking, cabinet making, and using woodworking tools and equipment
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly instructions
- Attention to detail and precision in assembly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in custom cabinetry or furniture assembly is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are advantageous
