The Role
We’re looking for a Co-Op Student to join our Procurement team and support the day-to-day operations that keep our production floor running. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn how a precision manufacturing business sources, tracks, and manages the materials and services it depends on every day.
You’ll work directly with our procurement team and collaborate across departments - Engineering, Sales, Production, and Finance - giving you a front-row seat to how a manufacturing operation actually works, end to end.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders from request through delivery
- Support inventory monitoring to help identify material shortages before they impact production
- Maintain and update purchasing databases, including raw material country-of-origin records and costs, supplier surveys, and supplier on-time delivery and quality tracking
- Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Production, Finance) to support their procurement needs
- Update and modify purchase orders as requirements change
- Obtain and organize supplier quotes for team review
- Participate in supplier site visits to see the supply chain first-hand
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail - procurement lives and dies on accuracy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and ERP systems (or eager to learn)
- Good communication skills - you’ll be working with people across every department
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once without losing track
- Curious about how manufacturing works - we’ll teach you the rest

Please note this is an 8-12 month placement with a starting wage of $20-$22 per hour.
