Daily Responsibilities:
This is not a standard program manager role - it requires:
- Developing deep relationships across multiple, separate business units and their leadership teams
- Experience with transformation projects and delivery of technical and AI capabilities
- A bias to action and the ability to operate independently and in ambiguous situations
- Commercial Banking and Credit Expertise
- Manage alignment and decision-making across multiple, separate business, technology and AI groups, ensuring interoperability and consistent architecture
- Own overarching program governance, status reporting, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communications across all three entities
- Track program metrics, milestones, and performance - essential for visibility to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Develop executive-level presentations and maintain critical visibility with leadership and stakeholders across all three entities- essential to program credibility and stakeholder confidence.
What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role?
- Credit Experience
- AI Experience or Expertise
- Project Management Tools: Microsoft Project, JIRA
- Communication Tools: Collaboration platforms.
- Documentation Tools: Confluence, SharePoint,
- Reporting Tools: PowerPoint Excel, or other data visualization tools.
Must-have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services industry with understanding of project business management.
- Program Management experience on the Business side.
- Hands-on experience implementing End-to-End project
- Guiding teams and stakeholders to make informed, consensus-driven decisions.
- Aligning program and portfolio-level objectives to maintain alignment and achieve strategic outcomes.
- Effective storytelling skills – written and verbal skills and attention to detail in preparing reporting and summaries that is provided to product teams and senior / executive leadership.
- A ‘Growth Mindset’ – remain current with emerging consumer / industry trends, embraces new data to generate impactful insights. Proactive and inquisitive mindset, continuously seeking opportunities and the “why” behind data trends to improve existing processes and streamline activities.
