We are currently seeking a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager to join our team!
The Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Manager plays a critical role in strengthening commercial performance across Fresenius Kabi Canada. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Excellence, this position transforms business strategy, market insights, and performance data into actionable recommendations that improve sales execution and business results.
This role leads initiatives related to customer segmentation and targeting, territory design, incentive compensation, sales analytics, CRM effectiveness, and commercial planning. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, and business leaders, the SFE Manager drives data-informed decision-making, improves field productivity, and supports sustainable business growth.
Commercial Excellence & Sales Effectiveness
- Support the development and execution of sales force effectiveness initiatives that improve commercial performance and field execution.
- Translate business priorities into actionable plans, analytics, and recommendations
Customer Segmentation & Territory Optimization
- Lead customer segmentation, targeting, and territory planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customer coverage, resource allocation, and sales productivity.
Incentive Compensation
- Support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of sales incentive compensation programs.
- Conduct modelling, reporting, and performance analyses to ensure plans remain effective and aligned with business objectives.
Analytics & Business Insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
- Analyze commercial data and translate insights into recommendations that support business growth and decision-making.
CRM & Commercial Enablement
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance CRM processes, reporting, data quality, and user adoption.
- Support commercial planning, forecasting, and execution through effective systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, Incentive Compensation, or a related area.
- Experience with customer segmentation, targeting, territory design, sales planning, incentive compensation, or CRM-enabled commercial execution.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Ability to transform complex data into clear insights and business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or other analytical and reporting tools is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset.
The pay range for this role is: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.
Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.
