Shipping & Receiving
Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Coordinate, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks and ensuring effective performance.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance and productivity, providing feedback and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory control and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or team performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, with some experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
