Assistant Spa Manager - Coastal British Columbia
Location: Vancouver Island, BC
Package: $58,000 CAD per year + housing + benefits
An incredible opportunity for an experienced spa professional to join the leadership team of a high-end luxury resort on British Columbia’s stunning Vancouver Island.
We’re looking for an Assistant Spa Manager who combines genuine hands-on spa experience with strong leadership skills and a real passion for exceptional guest service.
Working alongside the Spa Manager, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operation of a world-class spa, supporting the team, maintaining exceptional service standards and stepping into the Spa Manager role when required. This is very much a hands-on leadership position, including supporting reception and treatments where needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience within a high-end, full-service luxury spa or similar environment
- Previous experience as a Massage Practitioner
- Minimum 1,000 hours of formal massage education - please note, this is education/training hours rather than hours of work experience
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Experience with scheduling, training, performance management and spa operations
- Comfortable with budgets, inventory and retail performance
- SpaSoft/Maestro experience would be an asset
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to commit to the position for 2 years
