We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Team Lead to join our team in an on-site leadership role in Concord, Ontario.

The Opportunity
As Personal Lines Team Lead, you will be a subject matter expert and hands-on leader responsible for supporting the Personal Lines team and ensuring strong service, quality, workflow and business results. You will play an important role in fostering a positive, collaborative team environment while providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach and mentor the Personal Lines team to deliver exceptional client service
- Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team environment
- Provide regular feedback, guidance and support to encourage professional development
- Monitor workflow, service levels and quality to ensure client expectations are consistently met
- Optimize team scheduling to meet client servicing needs
- Ensure documentation and transactions are processed accurately and within required timelines
- Handle and resolve escalations involving clients, insurers, underwriters and producers
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with insurance companies and underwriters
- Support Producers as required
- Analyze and resolve service and sales issues and follow up on escalated situations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflow and the overall client experience
- Support the implementation of company initiatives and changes within the Personal Lines department
- Maintain current knowledge of company procedures, insurer requirements and underwriting guidelines
- Accept risks within established underwriting guidelines
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and identify opportunities for employee development and succession planning
- Lead by example and promote teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience
• 2+ years of leadership or people-management experience, preferably within an insurance brokerage
• RIBO license in good standing
- Strong Personal Lines technical knowledge and understanding of brokerage operations
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring and leading a team
- Strong client-service and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team player with a collaborative leadership style
• Power Broker experience is an asset
