Future Fields is pioneering the next generation of biomanufacturing - using nature’s most efficient bioreactor to lead the way in complex protein expression.

At the core of our work is the EntoEngine®, our proprietary platform that leverages whole, genetically engineered fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster). By embracing the simple elegance of a model organism backed by over a century of research, we bypass the heavy infrastructure and high costs of traditional cell culture. The result is a flexible, highly scalable platform engineered to express complex recombinant proteins that traditional systems struggle to produce.

To meet global demand, we built Instar 1.0 next door to our HQ in Edmonton, Canada. Outfitted with ISO Class 7 and 8 cleanrooms, this first-of-its-kind facility translates our technology into reliable, high-capacity production. We partner closely with clients across life sciences, agriculture, and food innovation to deliver quality-assured biomolecules that advance breakthrough science.
