*** is seeking a consultant to join the Technology Finance Business Management team. The successful candidate will support technology finance initiatives by delivering financial analysis, reporting, and business insights that help leadership understand and manage technology investments across the Firm.
This role works closely with Technology Finance, Product Managers, Technology Business Managers, Controllers, Business Management, and senior stakeholders to provide transparency into technology costs, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting. The team is responsible for helping stakeholders understand technology spend, cost drivers, and investment impacts.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
Analyze technology cost trends, variances, and key financial drivers.
Support budget, forecast, actuals, and investment tracking activities.
Validate data quality and perform root-cause analysis on reporting discrepancies.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Stakeholder Management
Build effective relationships with Finance, Technology, Business Management, Product Management, and Controller teams.
Respond to stakeholder requests and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Prepare executive-ready materials for senior management discussions.
Participate in governance forums, working groups, and project meetings.
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve data quality.
Develop and enhance automated reporting solutions using modern analytics tools.
Support migration and transformation initiatives involving financial data and reporting platforms.
Document processes, controls, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
Risk & Control
Ensure reporting and analytical outputs comply with established governance standards.
Support implementation of controls around financial processes and data quality.
Maintain audit-ready documentation for key methodologies and reporting processes.
Assist with issue remediation and control enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
2-5 years of experience in Finance, Business Management, Technology Finance, Consulting, Strategy, or a related analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, or cost management processes.
Experience supporting technology, infrastructure, or shared services organizations.
Financial modelling and business case development experience.
Understanding of risk and control frameworks within large enterprises.
Knowledge of GenAI
