Role Description The Recruitment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in North York, ON. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews for a variety of positions and industries. The Recruitment Specialist will conduct structured interviews, assess candidate fit, and provide hiring recommendations to clients while maintaining clear and timely communication with all stakeholders. Daily tasks include building and maintaining talent pipelines, posting job ads, updating applicant tracking systems, and preparing recruitment reports. The role also involves supporting onboarding and training coordination, contributing to recruitment strategies, and representing Galaxy HR & Consulting in a professional and inclusive manner.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Recruiting and Hiring across diverse roles and sectors.
- Strong Interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate qualifications and fit objectively.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written communication and confident, professional interpersonal interaction.
- Experience supporting Training and onboarding processes, and collaborating with clients on talent development initiatives.
- Previous experience in an agency or in-house recruitment environment is an asset.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
