Genetec is currently looking for a motivated, engaged and enthusiastic person to fill a Cook position. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the candidate will be asked to provide support to the food service, in accordance with Genetec’s philosophy and policies.

Your day at a glance:

Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Participate in preparation and implementation
Clean the kitchen material and equipment
Collaborate in the meal service for employees
Clean the preparation area at the end of the day
Follow the work methods and use the designated products and equipment in accordance with the safety, quality, hygiene and sanitation rules and standards in force
Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor

What makes you a great fit:

Have 1 to 3 years’ experience in a food service
Know food hygiene and sanitation techniques
Have an approach based on customer service, attention to detail, good communication and tact
Have a great sense of responsibility
Show autonomy, punctuality, dynamism and good judgment

Votre journée en un coup d'oeil :

Horaire de travail : du lundi au vendredi de 5h00 à 13h30

Participer à la préparation et à la mise en place
Nettoyer le matériel et équipements de cuisine
Collaborer au service des repas aux employés
Effectuer le nettoyage de l’aire de préparation la fin de la journée
Suivre les méthodes de travail et utiliser les produits et les équipements désignés conformément aux règles et normes de sécurité, de qualité, d’hygiène et de salubrité en vigueur
S’acquitter de toutes autres tâches connexes demandées par le supérieur immédiat

Ce qui fait de vous un excellent candidat :

Cumuler de 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un service alimentaire
Connaître les techniques d’hygiène et salubrité alimentaires
Avoir une approche axée sur le service à la clientèle; sens du détail, bonne communication et entregent
Posséder un grand sens des responsabilités
Faire preuve d’autonomie, de ponctualité, de dynamisme et de bon jugement
Avoir une résistance au stress et bonne condition physique

Un atout si vous avez

Détenir une attestation ou un diplôme d’études dans le domaine de la cuisine (niveau secondaire ou collégial)
Détenir l’attestation de manipulateur d’aliments du MAPAQ
