Robotics & Fusion 360 Instructor / Designer

Genio-Tech Robotics is looking for a creative and hands-on Robotics & Fusion 360 Instructor / Designer to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable both designing mechanical/robotic projects and teaching students how to use Autodesk Fusion 360 to turn their ideas into real, 3D-printable designs.
Responsibilities
- Teach Autodesk Fusion 360 to children and teenagers in a clear, engaging, hands-on way
- Teach students the fundamentals of 3D modelling, mechanical design, and engineering
- Design robotics projects, mechanisms, chassis, enclosures, gears, moving parts, and other components
- Create models that can be manufactured using 3D printers
- Help students progress from basic Fusion 360 skills to more advanced robotics and engineering projects
- Develop new robotics and 3D design activities for Genio-Tech programs
- Assist with prototyping, testing, and improving robotic designs
- Integrate mechanical designs with motors, sensors, microcontrollers, and other robotics components
- Prepare projects and lesson materials before classes
- Support students with troubleshooting, design thinking, and problem-solving
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with experience or education in one or more of the following areas:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Robotics
- Industrial/Product Design
- Manufacturing Engineering
- 3D CAD Design
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Fusion 360
- Good understanding of mechanical design and how moving mechanisms work
- Ability to design parts suitable for 3D printing
- Comfortable working with robotics components, motors, gears, sensors, and mechanical assemblies
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple way
- Patient and comfortable working with children and teenagers
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

- LEGO Robotics
- Micro
- Electronics and sensors
- Servo and DC motors
- 3D printing
- Prototyping
- Python or other programming languages
- Designing educational robotics projects
About Genio-Tech Robotics
Genio-Tech Robotics provides hands-on robotics, coding, engineering, and technology education for children and teenagers. Our students learn by designing, building, programming, testing, and improving real projects.
We are looking for someone who can contribute not only as an instructor, but also as a designer and developer of new robotics projects that can be used in our educational programs.
Schedule
Part-time position with primarily afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.
Additional hours may be available for project development, robotics design, prototyping, and curriculum development.
