Original job description

Hospitality is in your nature!

Do you take pride in keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Server Assistant who loves supporting a great dining experience. This detail-oriented person ensures tables are set, drinks are refilled, and guests always have what they need - before they even have to ask.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Work alongside servers to create a seamless experience for guests.
Keep tables spotless and ready, ensuring a polished and welcoming atmosphere.
Assist in delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and clearing tables efficiently.
Anticipate guests’ needs - whether it’s an extra napkin or a fresh glass of water.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, following all health and safety guidelines.
Help set up and break down the dining area at opening and closing.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

High school diploma or equivalent (a plus, but not required).
Experience in a restaurant setting is a bonus, but a great attitude is even more important.
A strong work ethic and a team-player mentality.
The ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
A friendly, proactive approach to guest service.

WHAT WE OFFER

Passionate about travel? Take advantage of great rates when you stay with Germain Hotels and travel the country. Again and again!
A work environment that fosters creativity and autonomy - contribute to the growth of a company that strives to move you forward and recognizes you for who you really are.
Squats help you relax? Get access to a state-of-the-art gym right in your workplace.

The hourly rate for this role is $17.60, in alignment with internal equity.

Apply - We look forward to hearing from you!

Germain Hotels may use artificial intelligence-enabled tools to support the screening and assessment of applications. All hiring decisions are made by our HR team and hiring managers based on each candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and alignment with the role requirements.
