PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Contribute to the achievement of GN ReSound sales and profitability objectives by providing audiological and technical training designed to increase Clinician/Dispenser knowledge, skills, and familiarity with the GN ReSound product line. Regularly communicates account and competitive information to sales and sales management personnel, and provides effective customer service to assigned customers.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- As a partner with the Regional Sales Managers, develops a plan to exceed net hearing instrument sales budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provides ongoing “in-clinic” training sessions (training seminars/demo days) to convey product knowledge, update customers on new hearing aid technology, and other related technological issues.
- Supports new customer development by working in tandem with the Regional Sales Manager (“team selling” approach) and executing demonstrations of GN ReSound products.
- Provides all new customers training support.
- Monitors regional data and allocates efforts accordingly to reduce the levels of returns, repairs, remakes, and enhance Company profitability.
- Provides technical response/support to all customers in the assigned region, and covers the technical support queue as required.
- Contributes to the achievement of new product launch objectives by providing product/technical support to new and existing customer base.
- Works in conjunction with Regional Sales Managers in developing the distribution strategy for the region.
- Develops a strong communication link with the Regional Sales Managers and communicates all relevant account information.
In-house Training Support:
- Provides internal training and product support for the Regional Sales Managers and in-house personnel.
- Contributes in the development of training courses and related materials.
- Communicates all relevant account information to appropriate GN ReSound sales/sales management personnel.
Administration:
- Contributes to the maintenance of Customer Profiles and account records/files.
- Completes appropriate sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely fashion.
- Maintains expenses within published corporate guidelines.
- Maintains company equipment (computer, training devices, etc.).

EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in Audiology
EXPERIENCE:
Strong experience with hearing instruments and previous work experience within the hearing aid industry
