Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Technician role based in Richmond, BC. The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and tire services. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, completing automotive repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role involves working with service advisors to review work orders, documenting performed services, and communicating clearly about vehicle condition and required repairs. The Automotive Technician contributes to a clean, organized workspace and follows all dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair.
- Proficiency in Oil Changes and basic service procedures.
- Experience with Automotive Repair, including mechanical diagnostics and component replacement.
- Knowledge of Suspension systems and related repair or adjustment work.
- Completion of an automotive technician program or equivalent experience.
- Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in automotive service (or progress toward certification).
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, service bulletins, and technical documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and consistent quality of work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a service team.
