Position Overview: As an Analystics Engineer I, you will entail collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to evaluate our customer’s data needs, design data models, and produce effective data visualizations to enable data-driven decision making. There will be numerous opportunities to influence our analytics strategy, contribute to best practices, and mentor other team members.
Your Most Important Initiatives: - Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple sources.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process data from internal and third-party systems.
- Design and develop data models that translate customer and business requirements into scalable, reusable structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate customer data needs and recommend effective solutions.
- Produce clear, effective data visualizations and dashboards using BI platforms to enable data-driven decision making.
- Translate loosely-defined business requirements into executable action plans and technical specifications.
- Contribute to and help evolve analytics best practices, standards, and documentation.
- Mentor and support fellow team members, serving as a knowledgeable resource for the broader organization.
What You Bring: - 1-3 years of SQL experience, including writing and optimizing complex queries
- 1-3 years of ETL/ELT development experience
- 1-3 years of data modeling experience
- Experience with BI data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Looker)
- Familiarity with transformation frameworks such as dbt
- Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language for data transformation
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Understanding of data quality, testing, and validation practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong mentoring and collaboration skills

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected base salary range for this position is about $108,400 - $126,500 CAD. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
