Role Description The Station Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area, responsible for the overall performance and operations of the local station. This position oversees daily hub activities, including inbound and outbound parcel handling, route planning, and coordination with drivers and dispatch teams to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries. The Station Head manages station staff, sets clear performance expectations, and fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence. The role includes monitoring operational KPIs, optimizing processes, enforcing compliance with company policies and local regulations, and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation. The Station Head also collaborates closely with regional and national teams to implement strategic initiatives, support new business, and address customer and partner concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations at the hub, ensuring efficient package sorting and distribution.
- Manage staff performance and provide training to enhance team productivity.
- Implement best practices for logistics management to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess hub performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
