Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – General Nursing

Reports To: Nurse Manager
Salary: CAD $32.55 – $50.25 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, qualified, and patient-focused Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings in Ontario.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
This opportunity is suitable for Registered Nurses with current Ontario registration, including nurses who are newly registered and meet the applicable employer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patients' health status.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and update individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies.
Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, progress, and responses to treatment.
Recognize changes in patients' conditions and take appropriate clinical action.
Provide direct nursing care while maintaining patient safety, dignity, privacy, and comfort.
Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, health conditions, and discharge plans.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures and workplace health and safety standards.
Participate in patient discharge planning and continuity of care.
Assist with emergency situations and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Maintain professional standards and comply with applicable legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
Perform other nursing duties within the scope of practice as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or an approved equivalent nursing qualification.
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Valid registration must be maintained throughout employment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification;
Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Ability to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centred care.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple clinical responsibilities.
Previous nursing experience is an asset; experience requirements may vary by employer and position.
