Purpose:
To provide friendly and professional customer service while answering the telephone and greeting visitors and performing general clerical duties according to established procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of office supplies; general filing and file maintenance, as required.
- Enter credits, returns, and corrections in computer system.
- Assist with inside sales staff, including following up on backorders and assisting customers with any inquiries and problems.
- Coordinate the logistical aspects of team programs, such as meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects, and events.
- Process orders from key customer accounts.
- Daily shipping confirmation quality control.
- Repair & Remanufacturing order processing.
- Automation Inventory cycle count
- Monthly branch and warehouse safety inspection and reporting.
- Branch maintenance coordination.
- Present a positive and professional image of the office to all customers, suppliers, visitors and other individuals.
- Assist with other duties as required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Office Administration or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical products and applications would be considered an asset.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Practice excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage customer requests.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
