Responsibilities
Create and interpret manufacturing-ready engineering drawings, 2D and 3D CAD models, and technical documentation, applying precise dimensioning and GD&T. Review and improve existing designs and documentation, communicate design intent, and contribute DFM insights to optimize parts for production.
Requirements
Candidates should have extensive mechanical design experience taking parts from concept through manufacturing, expert proficiency across multiple CAD platforms, and hands-on familiarity with FreeCAD. They should also bring strong knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, manufacturing processes, material selection, DFM, and clear communication, including experience collaborating remotely.
