Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Business Analyst to serve as a key contributor in our Supply Chain transformation initiatives. The primary focus of this role will be the continuous improvement of our Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM; Bamboo Rose), supporting new initiatives within the application, integrating new systems, and managing troubleshooting. The role will also support our core Distribution/Global Logistics applications, with a specific focus on 3PL integrations.
Main Responsibilities:
PLM Business Analyst - Continuous Improvement & System Optimization (PLM)
- Provide technical and functional expertise to identify, design, and implement optimizations for both the PLM systems, enhancing operational efficiency and data integrity;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze departmental needs related to supply chain applications and establish effective, scalable system solutions;
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and scenarios to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation with QA and Business teams;
- Own the application portfolio's incident resolution process, providing level 2/3 technical troubleshooting and coordinating with third-party support for the timely and efficient resolution of complex issues;
- Contribute to the development of a forward-looking roadmap for PLM systems, ensuring alignment with the overall supply chain business vision.
Integration Business Analyst - System Integrations
- Key contributor to solution design with regard to our Supply Chain system integrations, to ensure alignment with organizational initiatives;
- Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream technical implications of any changes being proposed in order to accurately assess impacts to systems;
- Participate in the definition and execution of technical implementation of designed specifications (mainly for integrations);
- Analyze departmental needs in regards to supply chain applications and establish appropriate solutions;
- Responsible for the incident resolution and continuous improvement of the application portfolio;
- Actively participate in the definition of test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders;
- Troubleshoot any technical issues and work with third-party support to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
Qualifications:
This role requires a unique blend of deep supply chain operational knowledge, especially on the PLM side, and a strong technical aptitude to design, implement, and optimize sophisticated system solutions that align with our innovative roadmap.
- Have experience in a retail organization;
- Be proficient in both technical and functional aspects of PLM (Bamboo Rose knowledge is a plus);
- Be familiar with PLM process (from design to PO and PL creation);
- Have technical expertise in SQL and integrations (API, xml);
- Have experience working directly with end business users in bringing complex systems or applications projects to successful completion;
- Have an excellent understanding of the integration of the people, processes, and technology needed to implement change;
- Be able to partner with various teams to coordinate and prioritize projects and initiatives;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
