SAW/PUNCH OPERATOR
Preparation of Material
- Cut / prepare components
- Cut / prepare frames for assemble (i.e. cut to length, insert weather-strip)
- Prime work for assembly department as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- General Labour Duties
Material Handling
(a) pack finished material onto dollies.
(b) transport material buggies into production area.
(c) other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Housekeeping
- Keep work area clean
- Transport glass to break area for disposal
- Maintain a safe workplace
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
