Original job description

IRIS The Visual Group is looking for an Optician in Chilliwack, BC

Following the retirement of our long-time Optician after 37 years, an opportunity has opened to join our well-established clinic in Chilliwack. We are a community clinic where patients are known by name and many families have trusted us for generations.

You won't be joining a chain. You'll be joining a team of career Licensed Opticians with over 100 years of combined experience who love to mentor.

Why This Role is Different:

Mentorship, not isolation: Work alongside lifelong Licensed Opticians.
Full-scope collaboration: Work directly with a large team of Optometrists practicing a broad scope of optometry - including specialty contacts, myopia control, and ocular disease.
Freedom to dispense the best: We support clinical choice. If your patient needs the best from Essilor, Nikon, Zeiss, or Shamir - you can choose it.
Modern tools to do your best work: State-of-the-art EMR, large in-stock inventory of single vision, regular, hi-index and blue light lenses, and a brand new edging lab on premises for same-day service and quality control.

We offer:

Stable full-time hours, competitive compensation, benefits, CE support, and a loyal patient base from day one.

If you take pride in craft, patient relationships, and finishing what you start in the lab.

Evening Schedule : Monday thru Friday

Weekend Schedule : Saturday

You like what you see?

IRIS, The Visual Group is Canada's largest network of eyecare professionals, with over 150 locations across Canada.

At IRIS, our mission is to provide the highest quality products and professional services in the world of eyecare.

We’ve got our eyes on you!
