HMS Careers Inc. is recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead an upscale/luxury lifestyle hotel in Toronto.

This position requires direct General Manager experience within an upscale or luxury LIFESTYLE hotel environment.
Applicants whose General Manager experience is primarily select-service, limited-service or traditional branded hotel operations without relevant lifestyle hotel experience will not be considered.
We are looking for a General Manager who understands the lifestyle segment and has successfully led a property where the guest experience, design, culture, food and beverage, local connection and overall personality of the hotel are integral to the brand.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
✔ Previous General Manager experience in an upscale or luxury lifestyle hotel
✔ Demonstrated lifestyle hotel leadership experience
✔ Strong full-service hotel operations background
✔ Strong Food & Beverage leadership experience
✔ Proven P&L, budgeting, forecasting and revenue management experience
✔ Strong owner relations and stakeholder management
✔ Proven success building and developing high-performing leadership teams
✔ Experience delivering strong guest satisfaction, financial performance and brand standards
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
✔ Hilton experience
✔ Major international luxury or lifestyle hotel brand experience
✔ Toronto/GTA hotel market experience
✔ Union environment experience
