We are currently seeking driven individuals to join our team as a Sheet Metal Operator. This role is responsible for fabricating sheet metal components used in the construction of air handling units, utilizing CNC machinery and various metalworking tools to help deliver the highest quality products to our customers.

Your Responsibilities:
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate CNC machines and metalworking tools (brakes and shears) to fabricate sheet metal components according to production specifications
- Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide the precise fabrication of sheet metal parts
- Measurement and Tool Use: Use measuring tools and perform calculations to ensure accurate cuts and bends
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning for safe and efficient operation
- Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with sheet metal (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred)
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation required
Job Details:
Job Type: Full-time, Indoor
Location: Kingston, ON (On-Site)
Starting Wage: $21.80 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift Schedule:
- Rotating early mornings and afternoon shifts
- Monday – Friday: 5:45 am – 2:15 pm
- Monday – Thursday: 2:30 pm – 12:30 am
- Every other Friday off
- Weekend shifts not required
- Occasional overtime available based on production requirements
