Under general supervision and direction, the technologist will perform a variety of laboratory procedures accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining quality control and prioritizing workload. Duties include: processing specimens for Microbiology as per established policies and procedures; interpretation and reporting of gram-stained.
- Current Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
- Successful completion of an accredited MLT program
- Recent experience in Microbiology would be an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem- solving skills
- Membership in CSMLS
