•Build an Edmonton-area territory, initially focused on customers within approximately 1.5 hours of the city.
•Identify opportunities for tungsten carbide tooling, diamond abrasives, industrial consumables, specialty threading inserts and tungsten and special alloy recycling.
•Understand customer requirements and work with the internal team on technical solutions and quotations.
•Manage opportunities from initial conversation through quoting, closing and post-sale follow-up.
•Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, follow-up activities and progress through the sales process.
•Regular travel is expected for prospecting and customer visits throughout the assigned territory.
What you bring
•Sales or business-development experience, preferably with industrial customers.
•Practical knowledge of machining, tooling, mechanical applications or a related field.
•Confidence starting conversations, asking questions and explaining product value.
•Strong organization, follow-through and comfort using sales tracking tools.
•A willingness to learn, accept coaching and work closely with technical colleagues.
•A machinist, tooling specialist or mechanical engineering technologist with sales experience could be a strong fit.
•5-Year clean drivers abstract.
What we offer
•Competitive salary + Commission structure.
•Company vehicle.
•A benefits package (details to be discussed).
•The opportunity to build a territory and take ownership of customer relationships.
•Direct coaching, structured onboarding and support from experienced colleagues.
•Exposure to diverse products, applications and business areas.
