Salary: £31,632 to £33,621 per annum including London Weighting

We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our Estates team and play a key role in ensuring our College campuses at Harrow-on-the-Hill and Harrow Weald remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose for students, staff and visitors.
You will provide an efficient and effective site service ensuring that standards are of the highest quality, including day to day upkeep and general maintenance of fixtures/fittings, building fabric and services.
Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Window/door repairs
- Wall fixings such as shelving, clocks, blinds and fixture hanging.
- Preparing and maintaining rooms, including strip-out, repair and redecoration activities.
- Basic plumbing/toilet and sink unblocking, installing taps and other fittings, tiling and grouting.
- Furniture repairs, furniture moves, furniture assembly.
- Manual handling/portering services where required, including room set ups
- Attending to urgent Health and Safety hazards and making safe.
- Carry out routine inspections of the campus and reporting issues to the Estates team
You Will Be Able To Demonstrate
- IOSH Working Safely Qualification or equivalent
- Experience in a facilities or related role
- Practical experience of completing routine physical tasks and minor maintenance work
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and members of the public/customers
- Flexible approach to work and able to work at both Harrow Hill and Weald Campuses
- First Aid at Work certificate or willing to train as a First Aider
