Senior Specialist, Salesforce Data Cloud & Loyalty
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Data Cloud & Loyalty Specialist to join a client-facing solutioning pod supporting customer engagement, loyalty, personalization, and marketing activation initiatives.
This is a hands-on platform role focused on Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Loyalty Management, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Engagement. The role is execution-heavy and suited for someone who is comfortable configuring platforms, building segments, supporting campaigns, validating data, and troubleshooting issues.
You will work closely with architects, developers, QA, campaign teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions and ensure delivery quality across the platform.
What you will do
- Perform hands-on configuration and delivery support across Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Loyalty Management, and SFMC / Salesforce Engagement.
- Build, validate, and troubleshoot audiences, segments, calculated insights, activation logic, and campaign eligibility rules.
- Support loyalty program capabilities such as member journeys, tiers, benefits, promotions, offers, and accrual/redemption logic.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into user stories, platform configurations, test scenarios, data mappings, and technical documentation.
- Use SQL where needed for audience validation, segmentation checks, campaign QA, count validation, and troubleshooting.
- Support campaign readiness activities, including data validation, count checks, platform QA, and segmentation accuracy reviews.
- Partner with developers, QA resources, campaign teams, analysts, product owners, architects, and client stakeholders to support delivery.
- Troubleshoot platform and data issues, document root causes, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate delivery or specialist teams.
- Identify risks related to data quality, consent, privacy, segmentation logic, campaign rules, platform limitations, and implementation complexity.
- Participate in client working sessions, including onsite sessions in Toronto 1-2 days per week.
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce, MarTech, CRM, loyalty, marketing automation, customer engagement platforms, or related technical consulting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Engagement, or Salesforce Loyalty Management.
- Practical understanding of customer data, segmentation, personalization, campaign activation, consent, and platform configuration.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, troubleshooting, or analysing customer and campaign data.
- Familiarity with relational data concepts such as tables, fields, joins, keys, audience logic, segmentation rules, and source-to-target mapping.
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, solution notes, test scenarios, data mappings, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with developers, QA, analysts, product owners, architects, campaign teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating in client-facing environments.
- Ability to work onsite at client offices in Toronto 1-2 days per week.
Preferred qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Loyalty Management or another loyalty platform.
- Experience with SFMC / Salesforce Engagement, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Braze, or similar customer engagement platforms.
- Experience writing SQL for campaign QA, segmentation validation, audience validation, count reconciliation, or data quality checks.
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or other enterprise data platforms. This is nice-to-have only and not required for the role.
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This is nice-to-have only and not required for the role.
- Experience supporting email, SMS, push, web, mobile app, authenticated digital, loyalty, or other customer engagement channels.
- Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, or related MarTech certifications are an asset.

- Requirements are translated into clear, delivery-ready platform configurations and documentation.
- Segments, audiences, loyalty logic, and activation rules are validated before campaign or journey deployment.
- Platform issues are identified early, documented clearly, and resolved with the right teams.
- The broader pod has confidence in the quality of data, campaign logic, QA outputs, and handoff materials.

The base salary range for this position is CAD $100,000 to $140,000, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
