Your new role
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Monitor and maintain building systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC, mechanical, and life safety systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and general building repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors, trades, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Respond to tenant requests and support a high level of customer service across the portfolio.
- Assist with capital projects and ongoing property improvement initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
- Travel between multiple properties within the Winnipeg portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certification is required.
- Experience operating commercial, retail, industrial, or mixed-use buildings.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and general building operations.
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and life safety systems.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
