Your New Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will provide onsite diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of heavy equipment throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Working independently from a fully equipped service truck, you will be dispatched directly from home to customer locations, delivering timely and professional service.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the GTA to inspect and service heavy equipment in the field.
- Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other major components.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards.
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsive service.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Journeyperson certification in Heavy Equipment, Agricultural Equipment, or Truck & Transport mechanics. (candidates without this certification may be considered, depending on experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment or related machinery.
- Previous field service experience with a dealership or equipment service provider is strongly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA.
