Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Product Planner to help identify new market opportunities and drive product strategy across multiple business units.
Your New Role
Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and commercializing new products and product enhancements. Acting as the Voice of the Customer, you will leverage market research, competitive analysis, customer insights, and industry trends to support business growth and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new product and market opportunities.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer assessments.
- Build business cases and strategic recommendations for leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to define product requirements.
- Gather and translate customer feedback into product strategies.
- Support product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity.
- Attend customer visits, industry events, and trade shows.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Planning, Business Development, Market Analysis, or Commercialization.
- Experience within a truck, trailer, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment industries.
- Strong market research, commercial analysis, and business case development skills.
- Customer-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite.
