Your New Role
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Following an initial training period on day shift, you will transition to a permanent evening shift position.
- Perform first article and final quality inspections on microelectronic assemblies and components.
- Record, maintain, and track quality data accurately within established systems.
- Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformances, and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Verify product workmanship and compliance with applicable drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Collaborate with production and department leadership to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience within a microelectronics, electronics manufacturing, or similar precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-883 and electronic assembly quality standards.
- Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 (Space Addendum certification considered a strong asset).
- Experience inspecting SMT and wire-bonded components and identifying cosmetic and workmanship defects.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with bilingual English and French capabilities considered an asset.
