Location: Toronto, Calgary, or Edmonton (Hybrid)
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud-Native Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable applications on Microsoft Azure. This role combines modern full-stack development, cloud engineering, DevOps automation, and platform governance.
You will work with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js/Python/.NET, Azure, Terraform/Bicep, and GitHub Actions to deliver enterprise-grade solutions while helping establish engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services.
- Build responsive front-end solutions using React and TypeScript.
- Develop backend services using Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java.
- Design and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Implement secure coding, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices.
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Full Stack Development experience.
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java.
- Strong Microsoft Azure development and cloud engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, RBAC, identity management, and secure SDLC.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
- Microsoft Entra ID and cloud security controls.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools.
