Role Description The Subcontractor role at City University of Seattle in Calgary, AB is an on-site position focused on supporting the delivery of academic and professional programs. Day-to-day responsibilities may include facilitating classes or workshops, coordinating learning activities, providing learner support, and collaborating with CityU staff to ensure high-quality program delivery. The Subcontractor may also assist with curriculum implementation, assessment of learner progress, and documentation related to program outcomes and compliance. This role requires consistent on-site presence in Calgary, AB and close communication with CityU’s regional and central teams to maintain alignment with institutional standards and practices.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and partners.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate sessions, track progress, and meet contractual obligations.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to respond to learner needs and program requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant academic background or professional certifications in education, training, business, or a related field.
- Experience working with adult learners or professional development programs is an asset.
- Understanding of post-secondary or continuing education environments and familiarity with CityU’s regions or similar institutions is beneficial.
- Ability to comply with CityU policies, quality standards, and any applicable local regulatory requirements in Alberta.
