Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered primary care to diverse populations, including preventive care, chronic condition management, and diagnosis and treatment of acute and other medical concerns. Conduct examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with specialists, pharmacists, and administrative staff.
Requirements
Requires a medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and completion of an accredited Family or General Practice postgraduate training program recognized by the CFPC. Candidates must be eligible for CFPC Certification Without Examination and for Full or Provisional Family Class licensure with the CPSBC, and demonstrate strong communication skills and commitment to evidence-based care and ongoing professional development.
