Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered primary care to diverse populations, including preventive care, chronic condition management, and diagnosis and treatment of acute and other medical concerns. Conduct examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with specialists, pharmacists, and administrative staff.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and have completed an accredited postgraduate Family or General Practice training program in a jurisdiction recognized by the CFPC. They must be eligible for CFPC Certification Without Examination and for CPSBC Full-Family Class or Provisional-Family Class licensure, and demonstrate strong communication skills and commitment to evidence-based care and ongoing professional development.
