Role and Facility Information
Fraser Health invites you to come join an innovative and unique primary health care team in one of Canada’s fastest growing and culturally diverse cities!
We are currently seeking full time and part time General Practitioners to join our team at our Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) located in Abbotsford, B.C. The UPCC opened in Abbotsford in April 2020 and was the first of its kind in British Columbia.
You can apply your clinical skills in the provision of comprehensive, integrated, coordinated, and continuous care for patients, families and caregivers. The successful candidate will participate as a full and active member in the delivery of effective team based primary care services through the new Centre where patients, families and caregivers are able to more easily access timely, comprehensive, person-centred, culturally safe, quality care.
Fraser Health is the heart of health care for over two million people in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada, on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations and is home to 32 First Nations within the Fraser Salish region.
People - those we care for and those who care for them - are at the heart of everything we do. Our hospital and community-based services are delivered by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff and volunteers.
We are committed to planetary health and value diversity in the work force. We strive to maintain an environment of respect, caring and trust. Fraser Health’s hiring practices aspire to ensure all individuals are treated in an inclusive, equitable and culturally safe manner.
Together, we are the heart of health care.
