Job Description: The Business Analyst is directly accountable to the Manager, Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain and participates in identifying Human Resources, Finance, and Supply Chain IT requirements, strategies and solutions for the Human Resources, Finance, and Supply Chain Departments and the health authority. This position will execute and understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis, and help streamline and document existing and new processes to improve efficiency as they relate to financial and scheduling needs across the health authority. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and co-operative manner, with members of the AIMS team to assist in delivering on the corporate strategy.

- Knowledge of reconciliation of finance/payroll/supply inventory records
- Ability to be self-directed
- Knowledge in operating systems: Microsoft, Linux, VM Ware, Cisco, Citrix
- Ensure that SHA reporting infrastructure stays up to date and current
- Knowledge of diverse, culturally safe and representative workforce
- Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction
- Advanced understanding of Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
- Knowledge in multiple financial, business and controller systems
- Ability to be proactive, flexible and creative in decision making

- Collaborates on systems solutions with other departments within the SHA
- Excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness
